Project Overview
Wedding Photography Byron Bay was launched after Fiora made the move to Byron Bay. She engaged my services to create a professional website which showcases her wedding photography portfolio and provide information on available packages. The challenge was to create a bespoke, modern, clean website design which was optimised for both desktop and mobile devices.

Design & Functionality
I liaised with Fiora to determine the site structure and page layout. Once a structure was estbalished, the colour palette was determined. Being a photography website, majority of colours commonly used throughout website headers, footers and call-to-action were substituted for white and shades of grey to keep the focus on the imagery.
It was important for Fiora to have full control over the site post launch so, alongside the unique design approach, I ensured the back-end functionality was simple and easy to use. Slideshow and gallery management tools allow Fiora to create and manage unlimited galleries to showcase her portfolio.
A blog was also added to allow Fiora to write about everything from Wedding day ideas and photography tips. Being a photography website, website page speed was the final area that needed to be optimised. I implemented a range of image compression, browser cache, server-side cache and lazy loading configurations to help deliver the most optimal browsing experience.
