Wedding Photography Byron Bay is owned and operated by principal photographer Fiora Sacco. Based in the heart of Byron Bay, Fiora provides professional photography services across Northern NSW.
A highly regarded photographer with more than 20 years of experience, Fiora brings exceptional technical skill and a deep understanding of what makes a truly memorable image. She has an innate ability to read a moment, adapt quickly, and capture the perfect shot; preserving the emotion, essence, and beauty of each special occasion for her clients to treasure for a lifetime.
The Challenge
Project Overview
The objective of this project was to create a robust, conversion-focused website for Hinterland Design Co., one that not only promotes the company’s services online but also effectively communicates its reputation as a leading Gold Coast design and drafting agency. The goal was to establish a high-end digital presence that captures the interest of prospective clients and drives leads through carefully curated content, intuitive navigation, and strategic calls-to-action.

Bringing Ideas To Life
Project Outcome
I worked closely with Fiora to define the site structure and overall page layout. Once the framework was established, we developed a refined colour palette that complemented her brand without overshadowing her imagery. As a photography-focused website, traditional header, footer, and call-to-action colours were intentionally replaced with clean whites and subtle greys to ensure the photographs remained the hero of the design.
A key priority for Fiora was having full control of her website after launch. With this in mind, the back-end was built to be intuitive and easy to manage, despite the custom design approach. Flexible slideshow and gallery management tools were implemented, enabling her to create, update, and organise an unlimited number of galleries to showcase her evolving portfolio.
To further support her business growth, a blog section was added, giving Fiora a platform to share wedding insights, creative ideas, and photography tips.
Given the visual nature of the website, page speed optimisation was essential. I implemented a suite of performance enhancements—including image compression, browser caching, server-side caching, and lazy loading—to ensure the site delivers a fast, seamless browsing experience across all devices.
