The Challenge
Project Overview
Dots On Pots engaged my services to enhance the overall website design, streamline the customer experience, and reduce cart abandonment.
The previous website was experiencing elevated abandoned cart rates and high bounce rates, indicating a need for a more intuitive and visually engaging user journey. To address these challenges, the site underwent a complete design overhaul. A refreshed theme which is aligned with the Dots On Pots branding and aesthetic; now provides a clean, professional, and trustworthy shopping experience for customers.
Bringing Ideas To Life
Project Outcome

Since the re-launch, the website has delivered outstanding performance improvements. Bounce rates have reduced dramatically from 72.18% down to just 14.86% a significant achievement for any online platform. The cart abandonment rate has also seen a substantial decrease.
With the integration of Mailchimp and automated workflows, abandoned cart follow-up emails are now processed seamlessly, helping to recover missed sales and strengthen customer retention.
The new WordPress website features a fully responsive design, ensuring an intuitive and consistent browsing experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The shop page has been enhanced with live pricing and category filtering, along with convenient product quick-view functionality, giving customers greater control over how they browse and interact with the range.
WooCommerce cart and checkout processes have also been streamlined to reduce friction and enhance conversion rates, including the addition of a buy now, pay later option through Afterpay to support more flexible purchasing.
Website performance was another key focus area, and the improvements have been significant. Average page load speeds have been reduced from 7.1 seconds to just 1.8 seconds, contributing to better user experience, stronger engagement, and improved search engine performance.
