Dots On Pots is an Australian owned and operated small business which sell bespoke, hand-painted terracotta pots.

Business owner Kathryn reached out with the task of upgrading the website design, improving the user experience boost rankings in Google with search engine optimsation.

The previous Dots On Pots website faced challenges of high abandoned cart rates and website bounce rates. To help combat this, the entire design was overhauled. A fresh new theme tailored to the branding and style of Dots On Pots now offers a professional interface where customers can shop with trust in the brand.

Since the re-launch, website bounce rates have dropped from 72.18% down to 14.86% which is a huge achievement for any website. The cart abandonment rate has also dropped significantly and the introduction of Mailchimp and automation now processes abandoned cart follow-up emails to capture any missed sales.

The new WordPress website now features responsive web design to ensure a seamless browsing experience on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. The shop page also features live price and category filtering with the option for product quick views to present customers with the tools to browse products how they wish.

The WooCommerce cart and checkout has also been streamlined and offers a buy now pay later option through Afterpay.

Website speed was also a key area of improvement with the new website cutting average page load speed from 7.1 seconds down to 1.8 seconds.
